world-class fishing resort

Old Post Lodge is a world-class fishing resort on Lake St. Joseph in northern Ontario. Mike Agency rebranded the existing identity to convey a premium experience with rich Canadian heritage. Old Post sells its own signature preserves; including strawberry jam, raspberry jam, apple butter, applesauce, and locally harvested wild rice. The packaging for these products was redesigned to reflect their hand-crafted, hearty nature and the wholesome ingredients within.

Problem

The website and brand identity of the lodge was not being focused on, which made it difficult to convey to customers the unique experience the lodge offers. There was a lack of importance to signify it's world-class fishing resort to customers.

Idea

Rebrand the website and create an identity that reflects how special the customer experience will be at the lodge and its Canadian heritage. Construct a new logo with a colour scheme that will engage customers to imagine themselves at the lodge and its scenery.

We designed headers revealing how the Old Post Lodge is a world-class fishing resort on Lake St. Joseph in northern Ontario. Next, rebranded their identity and website to convey a premium experience with rich Canadian heritage. A crest inspired logo addresses to the long-standing family tradition behind the establishment, and the clean website design has the sense of honest, simple, and timeless. The colour palette drawn from the surrounding environment was paired with beautiful landscape photography to provide first-time visitors with an expectation of the Old Post's rustic charm and peaceful surroundings. In creating a brand that is warm, accessible, and refined, Old Post Lodge welcomes everyone from the serious sports fisherman to casual adventurer.
